Summertime, Summertime, Sum Sum Summertime!

I know, for Chicago it may seem premature. But if you know this part of the Midwest, if it hits 50 degrees after the kind of winter we've had, people are wearing shorts. And today it hit 80 degrees which can only mean: summertime food!

I haven't really posted in a while but starting next week I will be putting up some of the following recipes:

- Sweet Cole Slaw
- Sour Cole Slaw
- Barbecue Baked Beans
- Sweet Tea

I look forward to the coleslaw, my favorite all time dish that I can't actually make.

Oh Linda, I find that hard to believe! My cole slaw is a 15 minute journey, and this includes cutting the cabbage by hand!

I promise if you make my Sweet Slaw, you'll get raves - because it isn't the usual dreck you see at The Jewels, Dominick or even Whole Paycheck.
